Newbie

Being the grand old age of a middle twenty-something, I find myself at that point in life where I'm a relative newbie to just about everything.

I'm relatively newly married.

I'm a relatively new homeowner.

I'm relatively new at returning to school full-time.

I'm a relatively new pet owner.

I'm a relatively new teacher.

And I'm relatively not sure what the heck I'm doing.

I sometimes find myself feeling like I'm all alone in these new adventures. It's mighty self-centered and ignorant thinking, I know. However, when you start having experiences that your friends are not sharing, life starts to get a little lonely.

I think through my blog (assuming I'm not to lazy), I want to map out my daily struggles. I know one day I'll look back on this time in my life and go, "Gosh that was so easy." But for the meantime, I'll just chronicle my experiences and take life one day at a time.
